Hey Sun Devil Parents,

1.  A few of you have asked, NO we do not have practices on Fridays; however, FUN FRIDAYS with free donuts, awards and games will being on June 1 at 9-11am. Pre-teamers are encouraged to attend Fun Fridays as well to hang with the big kids and enjoy the comradery.

2. There will be NO PRACTICE 5/24 due to end of the year parties/last day of school. The updated swim schedule, as well as meet schedule, is on our website:  redfield.swimtopia.com

3. Swim caps were part of your registration fee.  They will arrive prior to the first meet, no worries.  In the meantime, please have your kids wear a spare cap if you have one lying around the house -- if not -- do NOT buy one.  Just have your girls put their hair in a bun/ponytail for practice. And a giant "thank you" to Candice Ryan for sponsoring our swim caps this season.

4. Last chance to try on swim suits.  I will be sending the sizing kit back to Kiefer shortly, so if you need to have your child come by my home to try them on, let me know ASAP. My cell is 469-586-9660. Directions on how to order the suits is on our website:  redfield.swimtopia.com

5. The first week of practice can be hard on the lil' nuggets and big kids alike.  Please remind your kiddos that SWIMMING IS HARD and you applaud their incredible efforts. Remind them that swimming is one of the finest sports for your stamina, coordination and overall physical health.  Your kids' bodies will transform over the next two months!  My 11 year old is excited to work on his "man muscles." It's sounds ridiculous but it's actually pretty cool if you think about it. Let's continuously applaud their strides, no matter their end goal, and make this the most positive season yet!
