REVISION: Easier Heat Sheet and Explanation

Attached is the Heat Sheet categorized by swimmer.  Soooo much easier for you to follow.

    What does this alllll mean?????

The first number is the EVENT (ie. #3 or #76)

The next column is the event description (ie Girls 9/10 25 Free)

The next column is the HEAT and LANE (ie 1/3)

The next column is either your kiddo's time recorded at Time Trials OR if there is a number 1,2,3 or 4 that will tell you what order they swim in a Free Relay

    Definitions:

Heat:  The order they swim in an event.  If there are more swimmers than lanes, they will run the event 2, 3 or even 4 times to allow swimmers to participate.  Now only Heat 1 counts towards meet points, but ALL SWIMMERS will receive 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place ribbons for each heat independently.  This allows for swimmers to race against other kiddos with similar times and capabilities.

Lane:  This is the lane/starting block the swimmer will line up behind.  There will be parents (and myself) on the pool deck to assist.

TYPO IN THE LAST EMAIL. Please mark your child's arm Event, Heat, Lane.

    Thank you!
