We've had a super fun season so far... and there's still three meets to go!! The coaches, Missy and myself are so very proud of everyone's dedication, positive attitudes and personal growth.  However, we understand that it can be discouraging for strong individual swimmers to loose meets. So...…..

Register your swimmer for the Atlanta Swim Association's big end of the year swim meet at Georgia Tech's Olympic pool.  Swim clubs from all neighborhoods in Atlanta will compete in a Divisional competition at various times the week of June 24th.  Then after all the scores have been tallied, the top swimmers in each event will be invited to swim on Saturday, 6/29.

How much is it?

Entry fee is: $23 sent PayPal or Venmo to Cara Welin no later than 6/19.

Where is it?

Georgia Tech Recreation Center. 750 Ferst Drive, Atlalnta

When is it?

Redfield is slotted for 3pm on 6/26, and our swimmers are allowed to warmup from 1:30pm to 3pm. DO NOT register for the 26th unless you are also able to swim on 6/29.  If your swimmer qualifies for Saturday's championship meet and doesn't attend -- our team will be fined a hefty fee and will fall into bad graces with the ASA. So, only sign up if you can swim on 6/26 and 6/29.

Who can attend? What should my kid sign up to swim? Who do we tell? 

If your kiddo is a registered ASA swimmer, and every Sun Devil is... than he/she can attend Divisionals on 6/26. Additionally, your swimmer may swim TWO individual events, and express interest in swimming TWO relays. In the RSVP, like in our Swim Meet RSVPs, write in the Notes section what they want to swim. Just know, there may not be enough interest in an age group to have a 4-person relay. If that's the case, then no relay for your swimmer. On the flipside, if there are five swimmers interested in swimming a relay in an age group, we will select the top four times to fill the 4-person relay, to be fair to those competing. Remember: It's a sport. Finally, not all swimmers MUST swim four events. My son Lex has expressed interest in swimming 50Breast only -- while Malou wants to swim 50Free, 25Back and relays. It's all up to your child, and any interest in swimming GaTech is AMAZING! It's a thrilling experience.

Is there Parking?

Yup. However consider taking MARTA or UBER/LYFT.  Uber will be no more than $20, and will eliminate the stress of parking. I'm personally taking an Uber. Divisionals will be hectic, crowded and chaotic.  I recommend you plan your transportation and day to make this day as fun for your swimmer as possible.
