Softball, baseball and school -- Oh MY!

Many of you have contacted me concerned that your swimmer WILL NOT be able to attend TIME TRIALS this Friday, so let me ease everyone's mind.

If you cannot attend, no problem. We completely understand that Spring sports are in playoffs and school is in hyperdrive. Don't stress!

"Time Trials" is a night for coaches to gather intel on your kiddos so that they can place them in the right events at the first swim meet, so everyone is confident and comfortable -- and it gives parents an opportunity to meet one another and purchase gear.  It's not a "do-or-die" event:)  If you cannot attend, simply:

    - Inform Coach Kylie and ask her to time your swimmer at a practice

    - If you are still nervous for the first meet, make sure to specify "what strokes/events your swimmer would like to swim" in the notes section of the 5/25 Swim Meet RSVP coming out soon.  Kylie will review parent notes when creating the lineup, and do her best.

*Remember, there can be a challenge in the beginning of the season between what parents "want" their kiddos to swim, and what the kiddos "want" to swim:) I always suggest setting one goal each season with your younger swimmers, and let them work on it all season long.  We have five meets.  Don't rush the process. It's summer swim and it should be FUN.  If Kylie has your swimmer in only one or two events the first few meets, remember it may be your child's wish, and all he/she is comfortable/capable swimming.

    - Visit our Team Store at:  https://swimatlantaswimshop.com/collections/redfield-sun-devils and purchase our team suits, spirit wear and any gear you need directly from the vendor. Returns via mail will be accepted if suits have not been worn in pool.

    Go Sun Devils!!!
