Sun Devil Parents!

I'm pretty pumped how our first week is going.  I'm seeing tons of smiles and already MAJOR improvements.  Coach Kylie and her teen staff are bringing the good vibes and amazing energy to wash away any nerves!  Go Sun Devils!!! 

Below are a few notable updates:

1.  Attached is a new, updated Swim & Dive practice schedule.  You can also find this on the main page of our team website.  

2.  We moved the 11/12s to practice with the 13+ because we have so many 9/10 kiddos and want to give the kiddos the most personalized attention we can.  (Time slots are suggested and flexible.  We know it can be challenging getting your kiddos to the pool with school and work.)

3.  Dive begins next week, and we updated the dive schedule and added coach info!  IF YOU WANT TO TRY DIVE TEAM, YOU CAN TRY FOR FREE NEXT WEEK. Just let coaches know you are on a trial run.  If you choose to join, just text Cara Welin at 469-586-9660 to work out payment. 

4.  Time Trials will be this Friday from 5:30-7:30pm at the pool!  Think of it like an Opening Act at a concert -- it's designed to get the kiddos super excited for the season via a dash of competition, full dinner concession, candy, sno cones, music and friends.  Our coaching staff will also gather times for the kiddos, see who swims legal strokes and find out what the kids are willing to swim.  This info helps our coaching staff create the best lineup for each meet -- setting each swimmer up for success!  If you cannot make Time Trials, please tell Kylie next week to time your nugget at practice.  We will set aside time to do it.  I will also post a link on our team website this weekend where you can purchase Spirit Wear, suits, googles, swim bag, etc.  So if you miss Friday -- you have not missed out!!!
