Hello Sun Devils!

We are SO excited to see everyone up at the pool this week as we kick off our Redfield Sun Devils summer swim season! Like always, if you have any questions, please reach out to Cara @ 469-586-9660 or Whitney @ 404-788-4998. Now here is some key info to get us prepared for the season :

• Bookmark redfield.swimtopia.com now! The most up-to-date practice calendar will always be on the homepage, and you can easily access our meet/event calendar. Plus, more likely than not - most answers to questions you have will be found on the FAQs, Meet FAQs or Volunteer Description pages. 
• Practice starts Monday, 5/12 at the Redfield pool. (Practice schedule is attached.) While school is in session, practices will be Monday thru Friday in the evenings. *note: there will be no practice on Memorial Day.
  • Summer practice schedule (morning/afternoon) begins Friday, 5/30
  • Pre-team practices begin Monday, 6/2
• Team suits, shirt and more are available on our team spirit store! https://reddiset.com/collections/redfield-sun-devils Please note: if you don't want to get the team suit, please have your swimmer wear any other solid black suit for meets. For practices, any swim suit (but no two-pieces) is fine.
• Time Trials will be on Wednesday, 5/21. This is an informal opportunity for coaches to confirm the stroke(s) your kiddo can legally swim, capture beginning of season times and to get your swimmer used to "racing". It is low-key and meant to be FUN! We will also hand out Redfield swim caps that night.
• Our first swim meet is a HOME meet and will be on Tuesday, 5/27!!! It will be crazy and loud and fun!
• GT meet is on Wednesday, 6/25. Please plan on signing up to attend! We are always just a few points away from getting a trophy. The more swimmers we have in attendance = the more opportunities to score points = greater likelihood of taking home a trophy! We will send more information about GT in a future email.
• Safety is our top priority! Coach Kylie, our assistant coaches and our junior coaches will all be on hand to watch, assist and keep your littles safe!
• VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! While the majority of our volunteer needs happen during the swim meets, there are a handful of coordinator positions. These range from concessions and volunteer management to GT and swim banquet planning. Some of these positions are filled but others are still needed. PLEASE reach out if you did any of these positions last year and we haven't talked yet about this summer, or if you are interested in being part of the awesome Redfield Sun Devil volunteer team!!!!

Finally, if you have any friends or neighbors who would like to join our team, it's not too late!!!! Have them go to redfield.swimtopia.com to register anytime before our first meet!
