Tomorrow is our first away meet (at Hammond Hills) and the weather is looking to be like what we expect for summer swim - sunny and warm! So get that sunscreen out and get ready for some fun! Key info for the meet is below.

Sidenote, we DO have morning practices the day of swim meets, so let’s see those kiddos tomorrow morning!!

Location/Parking

• Hammond Hills located at 555 Glenforest Road 30328.
• They have a small parking lot, but wide streets around the pool. Parking will be on one side of the street; as designated by signs.
• Redfield’s bullpen will be near the baby pool set up around the baby pool

Timing

• Please plan your drive and parking accordingly.
• 4:30: Arrive to get your swimmer’s arm marked by coaches
• 5:00: Warm-up.
• 5:30 Meet starts!!!

Bring/Wear

• Send swimmers in a black, red or Redfield swim suit.
• Googles & Swim cap - if you have one, awesome. If not, we will have them to hand out!
• Bring cash for concessions. They will also accept Venmo (@Hammond-Hills-1)
• Sunscreen
• Chairs (and maybe even a neck fan)

Volunteers: Please see Jean Bradley when you arrive. Shift 1, you will meet at 5:15 with the ref to the back and left of the clubhouse. Shift 2 will begin after event 46, so please start making way to your spot around event 44!

*Since we are guests, please remind your kids to represent Redfield with amazing behavior/sportsmanship! In addition, remind them to stay in the water until all swimmers in the heat are finished, give high fives and say good job to kids on our team and Hammond Hills. Let's show off what great, fun and kind kiddos we have!

**As a reminder, This is summer swim. It's not Dynamo or the Olympic Trials. It's friends swimming with friends -- getting stronger, learning, growing, getting sweet tans and sno cone mustaches:) Your kids will look to YOU to see how to behave. Let's make sure they see us smiling, laughing and cheering. All of our wonderful Coaches and JAVs will be on hand to help with any swimmer nerves and provide tons of encouragement!
