Hello Sun Devils!

We are SO excited to see everyone on MONDAY!!! Like always, if you have any questions, please reach out to Whitney @ 404-788-4998 or Coach Kylie! As a reminder, all info for the season can be found on our website: https://redfield.swimtopia.com/ Now here is some key info to get us prepared for the season (please read it alllllll):

• Bookmark redfield.swimtopia.com now! The most up-to-date practice calendar will always be on the homepage, and you can easily access our meet/event calendar. Plus, more likely than not - most answers to questions you have will be found on the FAQs, Meet FAQs or Volunteer Description pages. We also recommend you download the Swimtopia app for ease of use!
• Practice starts Monday, 5/11 at the Redfield pool. (Practice schedule is attached.) While school is in session, practices will be Monday thru Thursday evenings. *note: there will be no practice on Memorial Day.
  • Summer practice schedule starts 5/29 with Fun Day Friday!
  • Pre-team practices begin Monday, 6/1 * Evaluations for pre-team vs competitive are now available! Please reach out if needed.
• Team suits, shirts and more are available on our team spirit store! https://redfield.swimtopia.com/shop Check out the cute merch that Coach Kylie is offering this year too!!! We also have some EUC/GUC swimsuits from past seasons available; let me know if you’d like to take a look at them! Finally, t-shirts will not have the year on them; however we are thinking about having a decorating/signing day!
• Time Trials will be on Wednesday, 5/20. This is an informal opportunity for coaches to confirm the stroke(s) your kiddo can legally swim, capture beginning of season times and to get your swimmer used to "racing". It is low-key and meant to be FUN! We will also hand out Redfield swim caps that night.
• Our first swim meet is a HOME meet and will be on Tuesday, 5/26!!! It will be crazy and loud and fun!
• GT meet is on Wednesday, 6/24. Please plan on signing up to attend! We are always just a few points away from getting a trophy. The more swimmers we have in attendance = the more opportunities to score points = greater likelihood of taking home a trophy! We will send more information about GT in a future email.
• Safety is our top priority! Coach Kylie, our assistant coaches and our junior coaches will all be on hand to watch, assist and keep your littles safe!
• Concessions coordinator still needed! We have two awesome parents willing to take separate meets; but we still need someone to “own” concessions as a whole or at least own a single meet. Reach out if willing!
• Lessons will be available once the pool officially opens. Contact info for available coaches/JAVs is on our website.

• Sun Devil dedicated IG and FB pages. Connect with us @redfieldsundevils on both Instagram and Facebook
• Dryland workouts will happen this year when the water is too cold or it’s raining! Send kids with tennis shoes. These practices will be FuN!
• Chant contest! Have your kids start thinking of ideas now!

Finally, if you have any friends or neighbors who would like to join our team, it's not too late!!!! Have them go to redfield.swimtopia.com to register anytime before our first meet!
