—--more info about Ga Tech—-
- Entry Fee: $50 per swimmer. Please send your payment to Cara Welin via Venmo @Cara-Welin
- Entry time: We will send that closer to the event, but we will meet out front and then we must enter the building as a team. Exact arrival time is tbd, but typically sometime between 2-3pm.
- Parking: Prepaid parking will be available in the W10 parking deck that is adjacent to the CRC. You must prebuy a parking pass: https://gatech.parkmobile.io/events. This deck does sell out, so go ahead and buy now. Overflow parking for W10 and day of parking is located at the W02 lot at 355 Ferst Drive (this is the student center lot). These are relatively short walks from the pool.
- Volunteering/being on deck: There are volunteer options, many getting you on deck!
- Seating(parents and kids): Ga Tech is different. We’ll have a “Redfield area” for our kiddos. We don’t know if this will be on deck or in the stands yet but we’ll communicate once we do. Parents will sit in the stands regardless. This provides adults awesome views of the pools and is also calm!!
- Pools: Ga Tech is unlike any meet of the season. This is the Olympic pool of 1996. They will have boys/girls running on separate sides of the pool at the same time. The order of events is a bit different than normal but all of our JAVs and coaches know how it runs and will keep it running smoothly for our kiddos!
